Thing-a-ma-jig and Michaels

So I got a Thing-a-ma-jig last weekend (it was the beginner kit one) to give it a shot...The butterfly and the red serpent design came out rather gimpy, but once I got the hang of it some of the pieces turned out pretty good. I'm not too crazy about the plastic pegs that keep coming out so I am upgrading to a Wigjig and see if I have better results with that.These were with some wire that I already had (I suspect it's 26 gauge but it's not marked), some 20 gauge that I bought as well, and some wire that came in the kit itself. I'm hoping to find some that will hold up for earrings. That is a work in progress because I'm not finding a wide variety of wire at Michaels.

I did get some 22 gauge wire to try and beads that were on sale today (whoo hooo 50% off!!!) but just found one that had a broken bead on it so now I have to go back tomorrow and exchange it...fail...oh well...
